I am a comics and fiction writer and an essayist. I am the lead writer for the comic strip character Greedy Greg and the creator and writer of the Animal Pollution Patrol comic strip for the eco-conscious company HAPSIE, which is distributed in countries throughout Europe and part of the curriculum in over 400 schools. My newest comic series, The Tragic Nerds, is available in Anachronistic Comics from Martian Lit. My other comic works include Spellcasters Major League Magic for the Saturday Originals animation company, El Swing! My newest essay, Myths & Vines: The Reincarnation of Dionysus and John Constantine, appears in the anthology Comics Lit Vol 1. I have been a host for the panel Heroes, Heart, and Hope: How Comic Books Guide Us Through Tough Times at Silver Age Con, and a panelist for The Fantasy of Fiction at Ka-Boom Con and Comics As High Art at Meadowlark Comic Con.
