Melissa McCommon (she/they) is a freelance illustrator & comic artist with over 15 years of experience working with both self published & internationally published comics. While mostly known for her webcomic “Epic Chaos!” (https://EpicChaosWebcomic.com/) & providing artwork for a number of conventions— Melissa has also worked on projects for comic companies, most notably providing coloring assistance for the middle school aged graphic novels by Svetlana Chmakova, including the Eisner nominated “Awkward”, “Brave”, “Crush”, “Diary”, “Enemies”, "The Weirn Books Vol. 1 Be Wary of the Silent Woods", & “The Weirn Books Vol. 2: The Ghost And The Stolen Dragon”. Raised in Vacaville, now residing in the East Bay, Melissa enjoys fruity teas, gushing over her menagerie of pets, & going to conventions!
