derpchu (They/Them)

Both a traditional and digital artsit, Derpchu finds joy and purpose in telling stories in all kinds of art media. Most of their art takes heavy inspiration from their own lived experiences both in the States and abroad, and deeply weaves in their cultural and personal identities. Currently finished their first comic: "Is A Wolf A Wolf, If The Wolf Can't Howl?" The author used their relationship with their mother-tongue as a point of exploration of social isolation and rejection, self worth determination and love. They hope everyone can relate to a wolf that can't seem to do wolf things and the struggles that come with that.
