E.T.C Arts (He/Him)

Eric Cabbell, Jr. is a visual artist and illustrator based in Raleigh, North Carolina, operating under the professional banner of E.T.C. Arts. His work is defined by a "personal blender" philosophy, synthesizing a lifelong obsession with science fiction, fantasy, and horror with the high-energy aesthetics of contemporary geek culture. Drawing from a background in math and science, Cabbell infuses technical precision into surrealist narratives, most notably in his Architecture Bubble series, where functional diagrams evolve into floating, vibrant ecosystems. A disciplined creator, he has filled over 20 sketchbooks with intricate line work and a sophisticated color theory that favors specific, bold hues like chartreuse, turquoise, and plum. Whether through large-scale murals or meticulous ink illustrations, Cabbell’s art challenges the boundaries of imagination. By merging the "random and weird" elements of internet subcultures with traditional surrealism, he offers fresh, alternative perspectives on the human experience and the worlds we inhabit.
