Fang Fang Comics (She/Her)

Fang Yili is a China-born artist with over 17 years of professional experience in illustration and visual storytelling. Now based in Los Angeles, she is pursuing her creative vision while developing her career as an independent comic creator. Her artistic style blends the expressiveness of Japanese manga with the depth and structure of European comics, creating a distinctive and cinematic visual language. Under her label, Fang Fang Comics, she has successfully crowdfunded and published three original comic projects: Tears of the Butterfly, Beauty, and Lineage, exploring genres from fantasy romance to sensual historical narratives and psychological horror. Over the past three years, she has traveled across the U.S. attending comic conventions, where she sells fan art prints and original works while building a growing audience and strong connection with collectors. Her work focuses on emotional intensity, dark themes, and immersive storytelling, with the goal of bringing her original IPs to a global audience.
